1. What type of entities can become our alliance members?
A: According to our alliance membership regulations, any legally established entity in China with corporate status and the need for IP addresses can apply for IP addresses and other internet resources from CNNIC.
2. What are the benefits of applying for IP addresses from CNNIC?

3. What is the largest IPv4 address block that CNNIC allocates to first-time applicants?
A: According to the latest IP address allocation policy, for first-time applications, CNNIC can allocate up to a 2C IPv4 address block to new members.
4. Does CNNIC provide IP address routing and broadcasting?
A: CNNIC, as a national-level internet resource registration management body, does not handle IP address routing and broadcasting. After receiving the IP addresses from CNNIC, please contact your internet service provider for routing and broadcasting services.
5. What documents are required to apply for membership in the alliance?
A: 1) The applicant must fill out the Alliance Membership Qualification and IP/AS Resource Application Form;
2) A copy of the business license or the organization code certificate;

6. How is the alliance agreement signed after CNNIC approves the application documents?
A: 1) After the application documents are approved, CNNIC will send the "China Internet Network Information Center Address Allocation Alliance Agreement" to the applicant via email. The applicant should print two copies of the agreement, sign and seal them, and send them back to CNNIC.
2) After receiving the agreement, CNNIC will also sign and seal it, and return one copy to the applicant.
7. How does the applicant pay the application fee?
A: Please refer to the CNNIC IP Address Allocation Alliance Fee Policy.
8. When does the applicant become an alliance member and can apply for IP addresses and AS numbers?
A: The applicant becomes a member of the CNNIC Address Allocation Alliance and can apply for IP addresses or AS numbers after signing the alliance agreement with CNNIC and paying the relevant fees.
9. Which entities can apply for IPv4 addresses from the CNNIC Address Allocation Alliance?
A: Only members of the CNNIC Allocation Alliance can apply for IPv4 addresses. Non-members must first join the CNNIC Allocation Alliance before they can apply for IPv4 addresses. For more information, see How to Join the CNNIC Address Allocation Alliance.
10. What fees are required for first-time applicants of IPv4 addresses?
Answer: (1) Alliance Membership Account Opening Fee
New applicants who are approved to become members of the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) IP Address Allocation Alliance must pay a 10,000 RMB account opening fee;
(2) IPv4 Address Annual Usage Fee:
CNNIC classifies alliance members into different levels based on the amount of addresses they apply for and charges different annual usage fees accordingly. For details, please refer to the section IP Address Resource and AS Number Annual Usage Fees (referred to as annual fees).
11. When can alliance members start using the IPv4 addresses they have applied for?
A: After the documents submitted for the initial IPv4 address application are approved by CNNIC and the IPv4 address annual usage fee is paid, CNNIC will notify the alliance member of the allocated IPv4 address block, and the member can then begin using the allocated addresses.
12. How does CNNIC handle membership fee arrears for members?
A: If the membership renewal fee is paid within 2 months after the address expiration date specified in the agreement, the alliance member may continue to use the addresses without interruption. If the renewal fee is not paid within 2 months, CNNIC reserves the right to terminate the IP address allocation alliance agreement, cancel the member's membership, and reclaim all address resources held by the member.
